MAYBOLE KIRK SESSION |
|

|
|
A parish in the county of Ayr. In the 1570s it was
united with Kirkbride. Its boundaries were altered by
the Boundary Commissioners in 1891. Parts of the parish
were removed in 1862 to form the quoad sacra parish of
Fisherton and part of the quoad sacra parish of Maybole
West. From 1929 the parish was known as Maybole Old. The
Church of Scotland kirk session for Maybole sat within
the presbytery of Ayr and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr,
later of Ayr. |
