This is my Scottish title belt I won against Neil Armstrong of Paisley at the grand hall in Kilmarnock. It was a ten round fight and I had three weeks of work to train for the fight so as usual I was 100% fit for that one. It was also a British title eliminator so I was determined to win even though I was the under dog. My trainer kept me focused. I used to spar with Neil three times a week so I knew how good he was and also knew why I was the under dog but I was determined not to let any of that get to me and it did not. I won with a knockout in the ninth round and I was on my way to the top five in Britain.
