Tribute by the Duke of Edinburgh in 1949 to supporters that built the stadium where the Juniors play.

An earlier Maybole Juniors team played against the Rangers at Ibrox Park, Glasgow before 5,000 spectators on the 27th of January 1900.

Article above contributed by Martin Bain

There have actually been 15 different junior and senior teams playing in Maybole over the years (10 senior and 5 junior) and they have played at a variety of parks called Gardenrose Park, Ladywell Stadium (current junior team as you'll know), Myrehill Holm and Spring Garden Park. Any idea where the old ones were located?  Some of the old teams had names like Carrick Harriers, Gardenrose XI, Maybole Ladywell and Maybole Wellpark.  Martin Bain
