The Peas 25th anniversary night was a fantastic success in Maybole Town Hall. The present line up of Davie Anderson, Jimmy Murdoch and Gavin Loch were joined during the evening by former band members such as Michael Andrew, Robbie Kidd and Alan Johnstone to bring their own style to old time rock and roll which had their audience bopping away. Maybole Pipe Band made a guest appearance and DJDK played during the band breaks. He brought the night to a close by playing Tina Turner’s “Simply the Best” as a tribute to the band. Proceeds from the dance mean that £1,000 will be going to charity.
