Photos above: Young members of Maybole's Tiny Tots Playgroup had a
great time at their Christmas party on Friday December 12 2003. The
committee would like to thank all the mums and playleaders for their
help and contributions. Thanks also to Colin Broun for his generous
donation and to everyone who supported the playgroup at the
Christmas Bazaar with a special big thank you to Magic Malky and of
course Santa.

Maybole Tiny Tots Playgroup
had a "Balloon Blast Off" last Friday, October 3. Each of the
children each had a special number on their own balloon and the
balloon which is reported to have travelled the furthest distance
will win that child a prize. The helium balloons were donated
by Paul Ferguson (Joiners) and so far sponsor money for this event
alone totals more than £215 with more to come. The committee would
like to thank all families and friends who donated. They have
also raised £314 bag packing at Safeway and would like to thank all
staff and customers for their generous donations. Oct 2003 |

TINY Tots Playgroup in Maybole has bid farewell to
playleader Rosemary Eccles - and the wee ones were sad to see her
go. Rosemary has been a mainstay of the playgroup for 17 years, and
has seen hundreds of Maybole kids grow up. But she now aims to spend
more time with her own grandchildren, although she will be sorely
missed at Tiny Tots. Presentations were made to Rosemary on her last
day at the playgroup, which meets in Carrick Academy's community
wing. The group re-starts after the school holidays, and tots aged
two and over are welcome. Our picture shows Rosemary on her final
day - and the children's expressions clearly show she will be
missed. (July 2003) |

IT was a day to remember in Maybole for the wee ones of the Tiny Tots
Playgroup. For they had TWO special guests
at their festive party. Magic Malky came along to provide the entertainment — then Santa dropped
in to say hello! There was great excitement, as you can imagine, and mums
were there to share the happy occasion. The party was held in the
community wing at Carrick Academy, where the playgroup meets on Mondays
and Fridays (9.15 till 11.30am). New faces are always welcome, and the
playgroup has youngsters from aged two upwards. (Ayrshire Post. January
17th 2003 ) |
