S3 Rugby Tour
The third year rugby tour at Blackpool was a great success thanks to Mr Brown and the rest of the staff who helped. The boys had a great time and played two games losing to Trafford 42-11 in the first game but beating Tyldesley 14-7 in their second match. Duncan Sturgeon was awarded player of the tour. Next years tour will take place for the senior XV to Bridgend in Wales between 6th-10th April 2008. Zoolab Visit
All second year and fourth year Geography pupils thoroughly enjoyed and, of course, learned much in Marco’s Zoolab visit on Thursday, 8th February .The topics covered were the Tropical Rainforests, Deserts and other Natural Regions.
Easter school
During the holidays an Easter school took place within the school for Standard Grade and Senior pupils. This was to receive extra help to study for the upcoming exams.
Report Cards
S3 reports will be due out at the beginning of May. Watch Out!!
Study Leave
S4 study leave will start on Friday 27th April at 3.30pm. Good Luck to all pupils.
Urgent Reminder
Prom tickets have to be paid urgently and pupils who have their name down for Alton Towers should pay the full amount as soon as possible please!!
