Carrick Academy won the Ayrshire development league for S1/2 this week. Carrick won their last two league games this week defeating Greenwood 21-18 with tries from William McJannet (2), Roddy Paterson (2), Blair Jardine (2) and John Dewar. This meant that if Carrick could defeat Irvine Royal then they would win the league.

In this game Irvine Royal started strongly but Carrick's experience told and eventually won 21 -12. Tries came from Roddy Paterson (2), Blair Jardine (2), William McJannet (2) and Stephen Paton.
