Here is an old newspaper cutting which my father found in the attic. I thought it may be of some interest to both ex pupils and teachers of Carrick Academy. The picture(s) are of the "Teachers" versus the "Pupils" game of rugby which was held at the Academy in 1977. Unlike the previous year, the pupils on this occasion, were well and truly thrashed. Mind you not all the teachers team were actually teachers. They had drafted in some outside help ! David Law. Click on the images below to view them full size.
