This book has been published by Maybole Community Council as part of the town's Year 2000 celebrations and was only made possible by a grant from the Millennium Commission, one of the good causes supported by the National Lottery.

The photographs, which number about 170, came from many sources and are in two separate sections. The first contains many black and while photographs of the "past" and the second contains full colour photographs of events in the "present".

When we invited contributions from the public it was obvious that photographs of people was what most folk wanted to see, so we have included a large number of photographs of Maybole folk through the years.

The book has 88 pages and is available in Maybole at  J & H McInnes. For those wishing to mail order the book  please read the information regarding this below.
