FAMILY HISTORY

FIRST GENERATION

1.  Thomas McQUALTER was a Plasterer.   Late Corporal of the 15th L. D.;

He was married to Agnes HEPBURN on January 10, 1818 in Parish of Ayr, Ayrshire. 1  Agnes HEPBURN was born about 1782.   She died on April 23, 1843.  She was buried in

Kirkbride Churchyard #49.   Monumental Inscription at Kirkbride Churchyard - Sacred to the memory of

.  Thomas McQUALTER and Agnes HEPBURN had the following children:

              2                      i.    David McQUALTER  was baptized on December 27, 1818 in Parish of Ayr, Ayrshire.2

              3                     ii.    Janet McQUALTER was baptized on January 31, 1821 in Parish of Rothesay, Isle of Bute. 3

              4                    iii.    William McQUALTER  was baptized on March 7, 1823 in Parish of Rothesay, Isle of Bute.4
