FAMILY HISTORY

FIRST GENERATION

1.  James McCULLOCH. 

  James McCULLOCH and Mary TEMPLETON had the following children:

            +2              i.    Isabella McCULLOCH (born about 1803).

SECOND GENERATION

2.  Isabella McCULLOCH (James-1)  was born about 1803 in Crosshouse, Renfrewshire?.  She died on November 14, 1881 in Genoch, Maybole, Ayrshire. 1  She was buried in Kirkbride Churchyard #37.

 She was married to James RAMSAY on June 8, 1828 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire. 2  James RAMSAY was born about 1803 in Parish of Kirkoswald, Ayrshire.   He died on January 6, 1895 in Lagg, Maybole.3  He was a Farm Lab/Church Officer.   He was buried in Kirkbride Churchyard #37.  1851 Census at Cottar House, Dunduff Hill

aged 78.  The above JAMES RAMSAY died at Lagg 6th January 1895 aged 92. 

Isabella McCULLOCH and James RAMSAY had the following children:

              3              i.    Margaret RAMSAY was born on November 22, 1822 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire. 4  She was a Dressmaker (1851).

            +4             ii.    Jane RAMSAY (born about 1832).

              5            iii.    John Dickson RAMSAY was born on November 2, 1836 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire. 5  He was a Shepherd (1851).

              6           iv.    Sarah RAMSAY was born on April 23, 1839 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire. 6  She died after 1881.

              7            v.    James RAMSAY was born about 1841 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire.

              8           vi.    David RAMSAY was born about 1842 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire.

              9          vii.    Thomas RAMSAY was baptized on October 6, 1845 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire. 7

            10         viii.    Elisabeth RAMSAY  was born on March 24, 1850 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire.8

THIRD GENERATION

4.   Jane RAMSAY (Isabella McCULLOCH-2, James-1) was born about 1832 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire.   She died after 1881.

Jane RAMSAY had the following children:

            11              i.    James RAMSAY was born on September 3, 1867 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire.
