FAMILY HISTORY

FIRST GENERATION

1.  James KENNEDY was born about 1770.   He died on January 27, 1854.  He was buried in

Kirkbride Churchyard #47.   Monumental Inscription at Kirkbride Churchyard - Erected by JOHN and SARAH

 KENNEDY in memory of their father JAMES KENNEDY who died 27th January 1854

aged 84.  Also their mother MARGARET ROBB who died January 1860 aged 79.

He was married to Margaret ROBB on April 13, 1828 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire. 1  Margaret ROBB was born about 1781.   She died in January 1860.  She was buried in Kirkbride Churchyard  #47.   James KENNEDY and Margaret ROBB had the following children: 

              2                      i.    John KENNEDY  was born on June 29, 1830 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire.2

              3                     ii.    Sarah KENNEDY was born on September 27, 1832 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire. 3

              4                    iii.    Helen KENNEDY was born on February 6, 1835 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire. 4
