This is an extract from the Ordnance Survey Map first surveyed in 1849-57 and published by Colonel Sir Henry James F.R.S.,MRIA, R.E. Director General in 1863.  It was revised in 1895 and published by Colonel J. Farquharson, C.B., R.E. in 1897. Railways were inserted in 1902. Click on any area of the map to see it in more detail.
