KINGS OF CARRICK BROUGHT TO LIFE

MONDAY, 6th November,
7:30 pm
Town Hall, Maybole

George Kilmurry is one of Ayrshire's most popular public speakers. The 69 year old retired engineer has a passion for story-telling, photography and  local history. He has successfully blended his interests to such an extent that he is increasingly in demand across the county.

The Society is proud to welcome George to talk on the Carrick Kennedies in the ancient capital of their ancient "kingdom". It is a  fascinating story which starts in 1314 at Bannockburn and follows many  stirring events up to an even more cataclysmic event, the Second World War.

No Carrick family has had such an impact on local and national life as the Kennedies. We eagerly look forward to George's illustrated talk.
