Young pirates and princesses partied and
picknicked to their hearts content on Sunday
August 21. At the pirates and princess party,
children had to walk the plank jumping into a
ball pool, played loads of games including
musical statues, stick the tail on the donkey,
pass the parcel, statues and corners.
Then they had a party picnic in the grounds of
Maybole Town Hall, the venue for the event. The
grand best dressed parade for the party resulted
in young pirate Thomas Logan, 4, of Maybole
winning best dressed pirate and Becky McClung,
6, also of Maybole, winning best dressed
princess. See last photo below.
The party, organised by Maybole branch of Save
the Children, was held as a thank-you to the
people of Maybole for their tremendous support
of the branch and its activities.
The next event planned is the Texas Scramble
golf tournament at Brunston Castle, Dailly on
Sunday Sept 11 with Tex Mex themed lunch and
tequillas. Anyone interested should contact
