Senior pupils and staff at Carrick Academy are heading to Peru next summer to work with street children. They need to raise quite a sum of money for the trip and their latest effort to raise funds meant getting very cold and wet. The pupils and friends decided to ask for sponsorship for a Christmas dip in the sea and are hoping that they have raised around £1,000. They would like to thank everyone who helped in any way especially Santa who turned up to set them off on their dash.
