FORMER
MAYBOLE PROVOST SARAH DUNN DIES AT 85
The only woman Provost in the history of Maybole Burgh died on Sunday
at the age of 85. And the town hall bell tolled as a hearse carrying the
body of Sarah Dunn travelled slowly in the High Street on Wednesday. Old
friends and council colleagues gathered in Carrick Sports Club after the
funeral service to recall her life. |
