DRACULA WEDS IN MAYBOLE
He gets about, that guy Dracula - especially at this time of year. There
can't be too many Hllowe'en parties that are not visited by the creepy
caped character with overgrown front teeth. And at Carrick Sports Club's
party the Price of Darkness sank his fangs into the spirit of the occasion
by being MARRIED. |

MINISTER PRAISES MAY-TAG SUCCESS
Local government Minister Frank McAveety found time in a busy schedule to
visit Maybole Castle. He called in on Friday to meet trainees, staff and
directors of May-Tag Ltd. Mr. McAveety had been at the Society of Local
Authority Chief Executives' conference at Turnberry Hotel. |

REMEMBRANCE IN MAYBOLE
The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month is the traditional time
for Armistice services and this year in Maybole the Royal British Legion
Scotland, Maybole Branch, in conjunction with the local groups, churches
and schools, has organised a special service at the Greenside. |

SITE GROWS AND SO DOES ITS LIST
OF READERS!
Maybole's website continues to be well visited by people from all over
the world. October statistics show that even more pages have been looked
at than in September. Last month, 31,409 pages were visited and this could
reflect that the site is certainly growing with much more content than
