This
year, the Holocaust Memorial Day service was put
back from the national date of 27th
January to Wednesday 30th January due to
circumstances. Unfortunately, on that day the
service, organised by the Maybole branch of the
Royal British Legion Scotland, was cancelled due the
adverse weather conditions. A few members of the
Ladies and Gents Sections, after a short prayer by
branch chaplain Rev Brian Hendrie, laid two wreaths
at the town’s new flag pole.
