Home Economics

 

The Environmental Health Officer was in the school on Wednesday 15th November talking to our S4 Hospitality pupils about Food Hygiene. 

 

Disco

 

The Halloween disco on the 9th November was a success.  Most of the teachers were there, including Mrs McClure dressed as a witch. The seniors were DJ’s for the night. Overall everyone had a good night and there was a competition for the best costume.  Heather Smith of 6R2 won a £10 voucher for HMV for dressing as a pirate. The pictures are currently being displayed on the televisions in the cafeteria.

 

Determined to Succeed

 

Ms Carol Nisbet from Scottish Executive visited the school during our enterprise week to talk to certain year groups about “Determined to Succeed”. A range of activities including Problem Solving and improving concentration were put into practise.

 

Remembrance Service

 

The school was represented at the Service on Sunday 12th November by staff and pupils.

 

 

 

S4 Prelim Timetable

 

Watch out S4 your study skills need to be up to date, because you will receive your prelim timetable the week beginning 4th December.

 

Music Group

 

The School Music Group performed for Alloway Senior Citizens on Tuesday 14th November.

 

Children In Need

 

The school is hoping to raise money for this good cause on Friday 17th November. Look out for our indepth report on all the fun events and the final total raised.
